Daniel L. Stokes CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Daniel L. Stokes, 78, Cheyenne, died Tuesday, May 16, 1995, at Cheyenne Heath Care Center. Mr. Stokes was born Jan. 8, 1917, at Palco, Kan. He was a pit supervisor for Union Pacific Railroad Co. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and member of the Crow Creek Gun Club and Cheyenne Rifle and Pistol Club. Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; two sons, Milton H. of Salt Lake City and Bertun L. of Cheyenne; a daughter, Mary Margaret Holler of Loveland, Colo.; a sister, Faye Neinhauser of Cheyenne; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Burial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Crown Point Cemetery, near Culver, Kan. There will be no visitation. Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, 401 W. Iron Ave., Salina, Kan. 67401, is handling arrangements. |
